Dr. Lee was born and raised on the island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii. Korean by ancestry, he was educated in Honolulu where he attended Hawaii Baptist Academy and graduated as Bible Scholar and Student Athlete of the Year. He went to complete his undergraduate and medical school education before coming to North Carolina to practice medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Lee mentors high school, college, and medical students, and he enjoys writing and reviewing scientific articles for peer-reviewed dermatology journals, and serves on editorial and advisory boards. His clinical interests include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, acne, atopic and contact dermatitis, psoriasis, and minimally invasive cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Lee lives in Winston-Salem with his wife Jodi and daughter Sheridan. He is an avid golfer and enjoys coaching basketball and volleyball, as well as watching his daughter excel in sports.

Amber joined Yadkin Valley Dermatology in the winter of 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University, and she received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem.
